I was browsing around Musician’s Friend’s website and clicked on to their “Stupid Deal of the Day.”  Usually it’s an item being sold for hundreds of dollars less than it’s normal price.  Today was different.  Today, “Stupid Deal of the Day” truly lived up to it’s word.  Take a look:

I was watching Rosanne, and Dan started to hum some familiar sounding music – which I mistakenly thought was the old theme from the HBO Feature Presentation bumper that used to be shown on the network when I was a kid. So I did what any good procrastinator will do – I went and watched the bumper – and then I watched a video about how they made the bumper, which was pretty cool. Hey guys, I was bored yesterday so I built myself a new website.  It’s more of a personal site than anything here on stupid5pin.  I figure I’ll use it to keep thinksobrain fans up on my projects.  If you guys wanna check it out, it’s over at thinksojoe.thinksobrain.com.

… Well, I did a shitload of work, and I got stupid5pin.com back up and running officially as of yesterday.  Now, our parent company’s homepage is down.  DreamHost has these things called “bad_httpd_conf” errors, which essentially means that the DNS is screwy.  They give you a couple of ways to troubleshoot these yourself, which I tried, to no avail.  We’re waiting on DreamHost customer support right now, but as I’ve mentioned before the last time we tried to use WordPress to run S5P, DreamHost customer support is usually awesome.  While I’m waiting, I’ve taken to being extremely bored and studying yet another Photoshop-to-CSS tutorial, not that really need it.  Speaking of, anybody need some web design?  $150, just contact me…

stupid5pin.com is back from the dead!  Well, it’s at least back from cybersquatting hell.  I did a hell of a lot of work today to get this site working in a pretty unique way than other WordPress-based blogs.  It allows me to keep things separated into the different categories that we’ve maintained over the years.  I will be updating the timeline soon, but for now I’m working on my other site, BoredWrestlingFan.com, as Friday Night SmackDown is on this evening.  I may post a retro column sometime soon, if I don’t get inspired to do a brand new column in the meantime.

Wow, don’t I feel like a complete jackass.  Here it is, April 29th, and I just now figured out who the hands down winner for March’s Idiot of the Month entry was.  The sad part is, I live in New York State, where the whole thing took place.  Oh well, I guess I gave Spitzer a month to let it all sink in.  If he reads this site he’s probably been crossing his fingers hoping that when the March IOTM was named that it wasn’t him for the past month.  Anyway kids, new article, new idiocy timeline entry, and for once, a new blog.  Sorry about the lack of updates, I’ve just felt uninspired over the past month since I got home from Florida.

What in the bloody hell happened to the world?  I was managing the band’s MySpace a little bit ago, and I got to thinking – why are all these people angry?  I’m the frontman for a FUCKING HEAVY METAL BAND and I’m wondering this. Why is there so much negative energy in the world?  I don’t know.  Don’t really care, either, but if things have changed this much in my 26 years on this planet, imagine what it’s going to be like when Maddy is my age.  Insanity, I tells ya, insanity!
